What the Candy AI character creator is

Premade companions are fun. One you designed yourself is something else. The Candy AI create character tool lets you build an AI girlfriend from the ground up, then chat with her exactly like any other character on Candy.

You’ll find it as Create Character in Candy’s menu, and our button goes straight to the builder. You can start clicking through options as a guest; when you’re ready to bring her to life, Candy asks for a free account.

What you can shape

When we checked on October 7, 2026, the builder walked through these choices:

• Style. Realistic or anime. Prefer the anime look? Our AI anime guide covers that side.
• Looks. Hair style and color, eye color, body type and an outfit. Pick one signature detail and build around it.
• Name and age. Every character is an adult, and the age picker only offers adult ages.
• Personality. Options like Lover, Dominant, Temptress, Caregiver, Confidant or Queen. This changes the chat more than anything else.
• Relationship. Who she is to you: a stranger, a girlfriend, a work colleague, a neighbour, a boss.
• Occupation. From bartender and lawyer to flight attendant or spy. A job gives her a life to talk about.
• Voice. What you’ll hear in voice messages and AI phone calls on Premium.

Create her in six steps

1. Open the builder. Our button lands on Create Character.
2. Pick the style. Realistic or anime sets the tone for everything after.
3. Design the look. Work through hair, eyes, body type and outfit.
4. Give her a mind. Choose the personality, your relationship and her occupation.
5. Choose a voice and a name. Then hit the button to bring her to life and sign up free.
6. Start chatting. She appears under My AI in Candy’s menu, ready for your first message.

What she can do once she’s built

Your creation isn’t a static profile. She lives under My AI and works like any companion on Candy:

• Chat. Up to 5 messages on a free account, unlimited text on Premium.
• Send pictures. Generate images of her in Generate Image or ask mid-chat on Premium, paid with tokens.
• Talk back. The voice you picked is the one you hear in voice messages and AI phone calls, both paid with tokens.
• Move. Turn one of her pictures into a short video clip with tokens.

Tips for a character you’ll keep coming back to

• Write her like a brief, not a wish list. Three traits that fit together beat ten that fight each other.
• Decide how you met. Open with it in your first message: “We got stuck in the same elevator and you still haven’t let me forget it.”
• Keep one signature look. Candy admits exact consistency between images is hard, so a single standout detail (a red coat, a silver streak in her hair) is easier to keep recognisable. Reuse the same words in every image prompt.
• Remind her of key facts. Long storylines go better when you restate what matters now and then. Premium Plus, Candy’s higher tier, adds memory slots and personas.
• Keep her original and adult. No real people, nothing youth-coded. Real likenesses on Candy belong to the licensed digital twins.
